DH and I found a babysitter for last night...
I had posted a few days ago that our plans for my mom to babysit for Emily fell through, and we didn't have a sitter for a concert we were going to last night at IMAC.
Well, my sister actually recommended a college friend who lived locally and was home for the weekend. She was able to watch Emily and it worked out great. Emily is still talking about the fun things she did with her new friend "Angela."
It was so nice to go out with DH! We need to do it more often!!
I'm also excited that we found a local, young babysitter (well, she's 19) so maybe over the summer when she's home we can have more dates!!
Thanks to everyone who made suggestions when I was so upset the other day! I'm so glad we were able to see our favorite band!

I can't wait until it is summer time and the girl is home for the summer so DH and I can go out more often! I was seriously so exciting that we were having a real date! We go out to eat often enough but with Emily so we have to worry about her slurping ketchup off of her fingers, spilling her juice, wanting to run in circles around the table, stuff like that.
It was just a fun night.  I am still happy over it
