DH and I have the best friends in the world...
I honestly can't believe this. I just came home from dinner, and UPS dropped of a package five minutes after I got in. I had no idea what it could be, but the return address was for friends of ours who live in CA. (Actually, the guy is one of DH's best friends from college.)
They sent us an anniversary present (our anniversary was a week and a half ago)... and they got us a WII FIT!!  I am so touched that they would do that for us. They attached a post-it that said "Wii really love you guys."
What AMAZING friends. We are so lucky to know them. (And of course, now I feel terrible that we didn't send them anything for their anniversary in June.  )

I'm sure your friends really appreciated you guys doing that, you are really special people.
To the op that was really generous of your friends, I'm sure they understand that you didn't send them anything, It's never to late to send a card, just write sorry so late but Happy anniversary.

Thanks. I think what I've decided is that we'll send them a gift next year (this year was our 5th; next year's theirs), and that way, we can make it into a "milestone" anniversary tradition or something.
We did call them last night, put on speaker phone, and shout "WII LOVE YOU" into the phone. They were amused, to say the least.

thats soo cute.. love the saying they wrote!!! Dont feel terrible just b/c they sent you a gift.. good friends dont expect gifts .. thats why they are good friends!

I hate to admit... we haven't even had the time to try it out this weekend!  I'm definitely doing it tomorrow, though --can't wait!
