Dh changing his mind again about having #2
My son is 3 just turned and we that have been going back and forth with this #2 thing for what feels like forever, . Finally I "think" we have come to some sort of conclusion that we would start trying this coming sept/oct (or so he said). So last night we are talking about it again and Dh tells me he doesnt think he is ready I cant do this anymore Im sooooo ready. I know its going to be a financial burden but I have faith it will work out. My brother and I are 7 yrs apart and I always dreamed of having a sibling closer in age. As it is they will be 4 yrs+ apart. I cant see waiting any longer.... I dont know what to do. Im done arguning about this, I just want him to be on board with this. Even my son asks him for a baby brother or sister almost daily Any suggestions how to get him on board??

do you have any family or friends with young babies that you can have over to remind him how great it is to have a little one around?

Funny you should say that - his closest frined just had a baby and all he does is complain to him how hard it is and how much sleep he's losing so unfortunatlely that has helped in my favor

Re: Dh changing his mind again about having #2
Is he completely against #2 or does he just want to wait a while? If he's just not ready, you can pull the "I'm getting older card" and inform him of the increased difficulties that "older" women statistically may face while trying to get pregnant or having a baby.

My DH is that way about a #3 and or #4 baby.
I would hate to recommend this, but I would keep bringing it up to him - I may also take on more of the 'chores' around your DS. Maybe if SH feels that his work load is less, he would be more agreeable.

I totally know what you are going through. My DH isn't ready either and my dd just turned 4!! I feel like banging my head against a wall.
