Is everything dried already? I would definitely spot treat as much as you can, and wash everything again........ I don't know any other tricks.......just let it soak and wash again.

For the white items - bleach!

I've done that to my own clothesChat Icon

Usually just sorting them properly and rewashing on the right temp with an extra rinse cycle worked for me.

Good luck! Let me know if it worksChat Icon

Thank you for the advice- yes they are dried already Chat Icon This was the icing on the cake to an already sh!ty day. I will try rewashing them but they are soooooooo blue that I don't think that will do it. Chat Icon I did find on line that they said to use Carbona and I will try that too I will have to try to find it in the stores tomorrow. It doesn't seem like a lot of places carry it in NY. It's just a shame these are brand new beautiful outfits that I don't want to have to throw out. None of them can be bleached because they all have a design or something on themChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

don't give up!! I recently turned everything red/pink and I got it out of 90% of the clothes with rewashing and extra rinse cycles...ohhh and I used Baby All detergent with Baby Oxy clean stain remover (a powder)!! I put 3 scoops in each load! Its fabulous!! Try that - its easy to find!!!

Rit makes a Color Remover, but I'm not sure if it would take the color out of the other areas as well. It might be worth a try. You can find it with the clothes dyes.

I would be careful about what you use to try and get the blue out - if the clothes are for children under a year they are treated with an fire-retardant material. If the treatment that you use is too harsh, it might remove this as well.

I know that there is a product that you can throw in the wash with new stuff to absorb any die that comes off, but I am not sure what it is called. I will try to find out tomorrow - a friend used it and said that it worked really well.

Good luck!

Thank you all for the advice. I tried the Oxiclean and detergent this morning and I am definitely seeing an improvement. I would just be happy to safe half of the outfits. The ones that were the worse were luckily her white undershirts which I could careless about. But most of the tops are looking better. I will run this a couple of more times.

The RIT thing is a stripper and will strip ALL the color out of the clothes I did it a couple of times with tops to dye them a different color.

The thing you can put in the wash to 'catch' the run from new clothes is either by Spray and Wash or Shout it's a sheet of paper and it did work really well. I used to always use them (got a ton of free samples of it) but I just ran out and forgot to buy more Chat Icon

Thank you again for all the advice hopefully I can salvage most of the outfits or at least half. Otherwise my daughter will just have a tons of jeans Chat Icon

Chat Icon sorry!

I found that zout works the best for me! It takes out everything and doesn't bleach the clothes. It even took out permanent marker on one of my shirts. It;s the only thing I use on DD;s clothes.

don't give up and good luck!

Thank you all!! We are going onto our 4th wash of it and all but 3 shirts look like they are back to normal!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Thankfully the 3 that were ruined were mostly all white (1 was an undershirt) and easily replaceable to the outfit if I need to.

Thank you everyone for the advice the perfectionist in me was freaking out that my daughter (as stupid as this is) was going to be walking around with a blue tint!!!

Thank you all again Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
