DH is an idiot! I'm so mad at him!
we went out with friends last night.
well, dh got more intoxicated then ive ever even seen.
he fell asleep in the cab....
so turns out he forgot his $500 jacket in the taxi!
i bought it for him our first xmas together..... i was frantic calling 311 and they have no idea. it sucks cuz i literally watched the cab drive away when i realized it was on the floor. i couldnt catch up.
THEN.... this morning his alarm goes off for work.... (we got home at 3:30 it went off at 7:30) and for some reason he's sleeping on the couch. (i dunno, he went to bed in bed) so i go to wake him and he's all "no, its fine, let me sleep" in a zombie like state.
i try waking him 10 mins later. not happening
im like fine, but ocme to bed. he does.
well i wake up at 9:20 and go "sh*t! kevin, you're late for work".
guess what, he gets mad AT ME!!!!!!
he blames me for it all. he says its my fault cuz i turned off the alarm!
he wasnt even in the room with hte alarm anyway!
im furious cuz he STILL is blaming me.

Glad he apologized.
what about the jacket? I remember DH leaving some luggage in the cab. Thankfully he had the receipt, which had the cabbie's car # on it. Good luck!

I believe you can ask for one. After he totals the amount for the trip he can print one from the little machine.

jess, maybe you can call TLC - maybe with the location/time of your trip, they can narrow down the different gargages the cab may have ended his shift - it's worth a shot....
at the very least, maybe you can find out info on their Lost & Found!!
