DH is going to lose it--the lights on the prelit christmas tree are half out!
he's been trying for 2 days to fix it and can't find the one that's out. i never wanted a prelit because of this problem--but we got it on major clearance 3 years ago so it was worth it.
any words of advice on how to fix the darn thing?

No advice, same thing happened to my brother. He cut all the lights off and put new ones on.

sadly - i don't
but maybe this song, especially #2 will make the both of you chuckle
i have one of them as well, so i know how frustrating it is - mine comes in 3 pieces, and you have to make sure the right plugs are in the right outlets as you move up, or not all of them will light - i'd have him start from the bottom up to make sure it's connected properly.

really? wow - when one goes out on ours only that branch or section goes out - so it is usually just like six lights, tops. that makes it easy to find the one that is out and we have a bunch of extra. where did you buy it? can you go back and say there might be something wrong w/ the tree?
i was under the impression that only a few lights - from the section of the outage - are supposed to go out?
so sorry - what a pain in the neck

I know how to fix it, turn the un-lit side to the wall.
