DH just emailed me - he's leaving work sick
He wasn't feeling well yesterday, but he wouldn't really admit it. He said he was just overtired and felt "off." He looked sick... but I played into his ego. He got up about 6 times last night, not feeling well. I asked him if he felt okay this AM, and he said he felt better. He looked okay, but not great.
He's now leaving to go home. He never leaves early and he never admits he's sick. He's got to be feeling like crap. Poor guy. I hope it's nothing too serious. Maybe he'll get it all out of his system this week and be better for Christmas!
I think I'm just still in shock that he's admitting he's sick to the point where he's even leaving work early.

He's probably exhausted...great man is focused on his work, and I'm sure you're relieved he's on his way home - knowing his limitations!

I'm glad he's admitting it and going home for sure. He's not a workaholic by any stretch, but he's slow to admit he's not feeling well or isn't superman. 
Poor guy is also getting his MBA part time, and this iis his first week of break between semesters, too. Maybe he'll get a day or two off to spend on the couch.

well at least he's good like that.. Mine is so dramatic that he would have been in bed, with the shades drawn, coughing and feeling sorry for himself lol

Last time he was sick, I practically had to chain him to the bed to get him to rest. It's only when he's really sick that he takes it easy.
Silly husbands!! We just can't win either way it seems!

The bed chaining worked out well for both of us.
