DH strikes again
My caring DH hasd picked up another dog from the middle of the road. He is gonna bring him home, feed him, give him a bath and then put up signs where he was found. He will put a call into animal control and leave his name and number in case his owners call to look for him. If not, it looks like Sandy may have a new friend. 
ETA: he said he is a chihuahua

Your DH sounds alot like my DH, we are actually looking to get another chihuahua so if you are not interested in keeping him let me know, were actually going to go to a rescue in the city this weekend and look around.

Your DH sounds alot like my DH, we are actually looking to get another chihuahua so if you are not interested in keeping him let me know, were actually going to go to a rescue in the city this weekend and look around.

He tentatively named him Lincoln (the street he found him on)

ooooh that is sooo sweet of DH. I am always trying to get stray dogs that I find wandering. 
I hope the little Chihuahua finds his home & loves his new one

Wow, what a thoughtful and caring husband you have. I hope you find his home...but then again, you may get very attached very quickly and hope it doesn't end up that way.

So i went home to see the dog, he is a pomeranean (sp) not a chihuahua...DH gave him a bath cause he had dead flea eggs all over him, he was filthy. I am mad because it seems like his owner did not take very good care of him. We are gonna bring him to a no kill shelter by us and hopefully, someone will claim him. He is cute !!!
