DH surprised me with our 10 year anniversary trip to Vegas! Any suggestions?
DH booked the Monte Carlo for 5 nights. I'm so excited but know nothing about Vegas. We would like to go to the Grand Canyon and I would like to have a memorable dinner for our anniversary. Any suggestions on what we should do? Shows, restaurants? Any ways to save some $ with deals? TIA

I haven't been yet -- BUT I have been researching like crazy. (We're going this year too)
check out smartervegas.com - they have lots of promo codes for things.
I also found the forums on TripAdvisor.com are great as there are so many people who've been there and found the best places for every budget

I'd recommend the Top of the World restaurant for a nice dinner. It's at the top of the Stratosphere and rotates slowly so you get the whole view of the city. Try and get reservations for sunset!

ITA with both!!! We always go to Top of the World - GREAT views, good food, etc. It's not one of the "trendy celebrity chef" places, but there is no better view of the strip.
We took a bus trip to the Grand Canyon and it was an ALLLLLL day thing, but so worth it! We loved it and had a great time, but it did take up one full day of our trip, so keep that in mind. To save a lot of time, you can take the helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon, but it will cost considerably more.
Definitely walk up and down the strip and go into all the hotels - they all have their own theme and cool things to see. There's the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, there's a roller coaster in NY NY, the Bellagio Conservatory has literally the most beautiful and elaborate flower displays (which are changed often and always amazing) and the Bellagio Fountains (which I think run every 15 minutes from 7pm at night), the Paris hotel has the Eiffel Tower which you can go up to the top of (I recommend at night for great views and see the Bellagio Fountains show from up there too), etc. Also, you can go to Downtown Fremont Street at night which is said to be fun.
Have a great time! We love Vegas (and we don't really even gamble! lol)

I've never been to Vegas, going soon though. Here's a link to bring a friend to a Cirque show for $25. Cirque Promo
Couldn't get O tickets but got LOVE instead.
