DH thinks something is wrong with DS!!!!
Gavin wakes up around 6AM and pretty much just hangs out i his crib and sleeps on and off until 7 or even 8 sometimes. 
Other times I have to put on the mobile to keep him occupied, but he never is out of his crib before 7.
DH thinks there's somthing wrong that he's not freaking out.....
I told him to be quiet and not jinx it!!!!!!!

Nothing wrong with it.
My DD does pretty much the same thing. When she wakes up from a nap or early in the morning, she just plays quietly in her crib until I get her. She'll put on her aquarium a few times. I don't think she knows that she could call me & I would get her. She could be in there awake for 30-40 minutes after sleeping and be totally content. At 20 months, I still hope she doesn't figure it out for a long time.

What a great baby!!! Some kids are great amusing themselves!!! My eldest daughter was like this..the twins, not so much. Caden is somewhere inbetween.

DD does this ....She'll hang out, talk to herself, crawl around the crib, try to reach her mobile, its the best thing in the world and when i walk in to get her she greets me with the biggest smile in the world...it just makes me melt!
But now that she's teething again there are some mornings where she wakes up screaming. But she doesnt come out of her crib before 8:30.

No way thats wonderful. DS usually wakes up laughing and talking, he will play in the crib for up to 40 minutes before I take him out!
Its a blessing!!!

That is great. There is definitely nothing wrong with your DS. My DS always just hangs out in his crib until we pick he up. He never cries in the morning. Tell you DH to just enjoy it.

Seriously what a good baby!!!! Tell DH to enjoy it now before DS gets older and figures out how to climb out of the crib and into your bed at 7 am!

DD does this! 7am is my DD's get out of bed time too..before that she gets her sucky back and i go and lay down again...she just lays in there and plays with her sucky or her mirror kicks her mobile...its cute!

My Ds does the same. He wakes up anywhere between 7 am and 9 am and just hangs out until I go get him. He plays with his elmo doll or his kick and play.
If I bring him to bed, he cuddles with me until I am ready to get out of bed.
Tell DH to be THANKFUL for this little blessing :)
