DHA supplement? So i asked my doc
and he tells me he'll give me a prescription for one if i'd like it but there really is no difference or added benefit to having a prenatal vitamin with it. He said its a Marketing gimmick etc. he said the DHA benefits the baby after birth not in utero?
I wish these doctors would all agree... should i just finish my regular Prenate Elites (which have been good for me) no constipation, sickness etc... or do i start the other kind?

Re: DHA supplement? So i asked my doc
I take Citrical w/ DHA. I've taken it since before i got preggo. The Dr. said the DHA is not necessary pre preggo but aids in brain development.
You know... on a side note my sisters FIL is a vitamin genius. He owns one of the largest vitamin companys Natures Answer
He says an avocado a day has incredible benefits.
Now when he sees me he feeds me avocados!
