Just wondering where you buy your sleep sacks?
Logan has officially outgrown the 0-9 month Carter sleep sack.
Diana, our sons were born the same length, what size do you have ur DS in and where do you shop for him.
Thanks

My DS was born at 9lbs 7oz, he will be 6 mos on Thur. The last time we had him weighed was 1 month ago, and he was 19 1/5 lbs.
I am no help b/c we don't use sleepsacks. Sorry! I have been putting him in footy pajamas

Only footed pajamas? What is the temp in your house at night?

THe temp for the house is set at 69-70 (it teeters), but we have (just bought) an electric heater for DS' room. I usually put it on just before i go in to get him ready for bed, then it's off in the AM. That is set for 73
ETA: Usually have a long sleeve onesie under PJs

I just bought a sleep sack at BRU. Not the carter. It was too short.
I got the Halo SleepSack. It is sleeveless. I got the fleece version. They also had a cotton version. It was by the crib sheets area.

Same here. They have medium and large Halo ones. The medium are 16 to 24 pounds and nice and long.
I usually either put Logan in a fleece footed onesie and a cotton sleep sack or vice versa.
We keep it pretty cool at night as well.

DS is a "bigger boy". He still fits in his carters sleep sacks so we use those and have the medium halo sleep sacks on order from target.com. He also wears footed fleece pj's some nights (not with the sleep sack)

I just put him in footed pjs for now - but I keep the heat up to 72. Once it gets colder I will try the Halo ones.

My DD is only 10 months, but she is very tall already. We bought the sleeveless halo at BRU and it's fleece. They have an XL that is big.
I lOVE it!!

Holy moly!!! I was just about to post this question. My poor guy is at the end of his sacks. At 11 weeks I really don't want to give him a blanket yet.
I must look into these halo things you're talking about.

Re: Diana1215, waterspout4 & other mommys of 'bigger' babies
...we are basically just about grown out of our Swaddle Me..DS is, at 11 weeks about 16lbs and 25inches..
Im not really a big fan of the sleepsack things and have never used them in the past...I always use warm feety pjs and a long sleeved onesie for cold nights..
We actually keep our house pretty chilly at night..you would be shocked at how much we turn down the thermostat...He is always warm and toasty.
