Diaper bag plus a purse?
Do you guys all carry a bag and a diaper beg?

I've done both. For awhile I just carried my LV with the pod inside of it (the pod carries diapers, wipes and a pad) and then i had some toys and formula in a formula dispenser. Then she started needing more crap, so I now carry the diaper bag and my purse.
Another option is just to carry the diaper bag and put like a makeup case inside your diaper bag and throw your makeup, cell phone, etc. in that bag.

I have my gucci diaper bag and then I am like do I have to carry my bag, I feel like I have this big bag plus her bag its alot of crap I HATE THAT
Especially now going out more..

Oh God no.....
I use her diaper bag as my bag. It has hidden pockets that hold my bank card, and I keep the insurance cards, plus there is a zipper pocket which I keep cash and change in.
No way are you catching me holding 2 bags. I already am in a way - her diaper bag, and her bottle bag... that's all I'm carrying....

I am still using my Gucci also. I have my makeup bag, sunglasses, wallet in there also.
For him - I keep wipes, diapers, puffs, some toys.
If we are going out for the day to a party I have a little Backyardigans bag that I fill with alot more toys and food to keep him occupied

I have been doing both, but it's a PITA. I never bought a decent diaper bag, just used the freebie one I got from the hospital, but I think I need one now. My bags are either too small or too nice ot double as diaper bags.

I use a diaper bag and throw in my wristlet (sp?) with my credit cards, drivers license and cell phone in it. Now that DS is getting older, I am thinking of just getting a larger purse to throw everything in. I am getting sick of the diaper bag.

I still carry both. I have my purses organised so well that I feel like if I throw everything in my diaper bag it will take too long to find stuff.

No I have enough to carry I throw my wallet, keys, and whatever else I need into her diaper bag - I only use a purse now when I go out without DD.

Same here. I never carried two bags. Just way too much for me to lug around....

I carry a purse and a diaper bag because I carry a boat load of crap for my two kids, myself, and my DH is always having me hold stuff for him.
It also makes it easier when we're out at like the mall and I want to run into a store to get something and my DH can feed or change the baby while he waits.

If we are out for the day I often have two diaper bags.
My double skip hop... diapers, wipes and all of that stuff, 2 placemats, 2 high chair covers, books and toys to keep them occupied at restaurants, a thermos of organic milk, snacks and two sippy cups.
I've spent three weeks in Europe at a time and traveled with less
Just wallet, lipstick in the small compartment of the skip hop.

Same here- I only use my purse when I am going to work or out without her. Otherwise we are down to a Petunia Pickle toddler totes for short trips out of the house.

thats what I normally do, but now that I have less crap to shlep, I can carry my pocketbook with his stuff with it....
ETA - I have a beautiful diaper bag though, so I don't mind using it!

Nope, that is why I got a nicer diaper bag - I just through my wallet, phone and a small pouch in for me.
Actually, now that she is bigger I just use a bigger bag that isn't a diaper and throw some of her stuff in.
