Diaper bags?

What diaper bag does everyone have?

I look at some of them and they don't look nearly big enough for twins.

From what I read in "Ready or Not..." she suggests a back pack but that would be w/o all of the useful compartments, right?Chat Icon

I also want to keep the price reasonable.

Re: Diaper bags?

I have a Vera Bradley diaper bag which I have found is very roomy. For shorter trips or when DH is with them we have a smaller skip hop (it's a little less girly Chat Icon

Re: Diaper bags?

I got the twin bag at BBB it fits on the twin aria -- across the handles. I like the size for now, but still am not sure if it is big enough for when they get older and need more things.

Re: Diaper bags?

I had this one

We loved it but when we went on vacation the bottles leaked in the airplane and the bottle compartment had a slight rip in it so the milk leaked inot the bottom and there was no way to clean it, it stunk like rotten milk.

Otherwise it was very roomy, we never had a issue with not enough room and DH liked it since it was not girly.

I use a large Ralph Lauren bag for a diaper bag. I got it in TJ Maxx . It's great! It has side pockets and a front buckled pocket, where I keep wallet, cell phone etc. The inside area is huge. Best of all, it was only $29.99!

It's a perfect size, but not sure how perfect it will be once their clothes get bigger and they start with toys. I am keeping a separate bag of toys in the car anyway for when that day comes, so it may not be an issue.

Re: Diaper bags?

Sorry to eavesdrop on the multiples board...

but I have to say that as Emily has gotten older I actually take out a lot less with us when we go out and use the diaper bag.

Her feedings/diaper changes are more predictable....so I just need less with us.

I have a vera bradley diaper bag and have to say that it is AWESOME and very stretchable for those times when we did used to pack it out...

but you might not need something as big as you are thinking!

Skip Hop

I have the same...

Vera Bradley was the roomiest & the skip hop
fits on the back of the double stroller and it really wide.

Re: Diaper bags?

I never use a big a diaper bag unless I am going to someone's house for an all day affair. I take a little bag with some diapers, powdered formula and some bottles. I keep a change of cloths in my car.
