Diarrhea - Any ideas?
Ryan has had diarrhea for almost two weeks. At first we thought he had the virus that DH and I had, but it has continued. We took a stool sample to the lab on Friday and now we're waiting for the results. Has anyone's DC experienced this? I've stopped giving him fruits and veggies, just rice and formula. Could he have developed an allergy to his formula after 7 months?

My DD had the virus but the diarrhea can last for a while, so the Dr. told me to give her formula and only rice cereal and bananas. They also told me to try isomil df formula for diarrhea. It is made by similac. I tried that over the weekend and it seems to be helping.
I feel so bad for them. I have been doing so much more laundry now b/c of accidents.

Wow! I never would have thought it was still the virus. I can't believe it can last that long. I'll ask my doctor about that formula, too. Thanks so much ladies. I actually feel a little bit better.
