Did a child drown at a pool in wantagh?
I hear tons of helicopters nearby and my dad said he thought he saw on the news that a child drowned? But, I don't see anything???
 that it's not true

From what I heard a shark was found in GILGO Beach~They said the shark was in distress and had no teeth!

I just saw a clip on the news but I missed half of it.
Looks like a private pool. I think it looked like the Wantagh Woods.
But, they said a child was found floating in the pool and aren't saying if he was alive or not. There was a heli shot of the backyard and there was yellow tape at the gate and a police officer gaurding it.
For this child. How awful.

I hear and see all the helicopters too. I took the 135 and got off at Sunrise Hgwy going East- and the traffic was backed up getting off going West.
One of the teachers at my DD's daycare said that there was an accident on Sunrise going West-- which is what the helicopters were for- but who knows.
for that child, though. How terrible.

Maybe that's why there are SO many heli's overhead the accident and the drowning. I just saw part of the news clip and they were hovering over the backyard. Weird.

I hate to say this but I saw 2 ambulances speeding up wantagh ave around 4:45 and 1 was surrounded by 5 cop cars- they got on the ss going west

Apparently it was in a backyard pool in Wantagh.. on Earle st. Someone posted on a friends facebook status that they have the whole street blocked off.
