Did any of you moms develop migraines after giving birth?
i NEVER had headaches before and now i am having classic migraines. today is my third one, and i'm wondering if this is hormonal?
has anyone else had this?

I had migraines before DD and they were under control. Maybe a few a year. It has pretty much stayed the same at one year PP.
I hope you feel better!  I was just wondering how you were too! (I haven't seen you on lately)

I did for a short time after my spinal. I asked my Dr and was told that migraines after a spinal block are not unheard of and can take up to a year to go away. I stopped having them at around 7 mos PP or so.

I had severe headaches and also dizziness for months after I gave birth.
I always chalked it up to allergies - not sure what it really was though!

Sometimes major hormonal events can start/stop/effect migraines.
I have had regular migraines (several a month) since JHS. I actually didn't have a single headache my entire pregnancy (nuero actually said they could away or get worse). Then they started again after and have been getting worse lately. Nuero again said the next pregnancy could be different or the same and if I still have them after that, my next best bet for getting rid of them would be menopause

Before getting pregnant the only time i got headaches was when i was getting my period and now i get them all the time.

i started getting them once DD hit the terrible 2's... 
just kidding... ive had them for years on and off.. i need to get evaluated again though.. i get headaches too often. good luck, i hope you get relief soon!

I developed migraines during my first pregnancy and I had never had them before. I would get one like every 3-4 months for two years after giving birth..I def. think it was hormonal related..thank god they went away.

yes, mine were stress-induced - my blood pressure was really high too so that was causing my headaches. The worst pain I have EVER felt and that is after 2 c/s! I went to a neurologist who gave me BP meds.....that did the trick for me.
