a co worker just told me... Is that true? Did anyone hear that?

I heard it on the radio- good thing I was running late today
why is it crazy- Michelle Rodgridez got let out immediately- I would much rather a murderer be in there - then Paris Hilton

Speaking for myself, I'm mad b/c if it were you or I instead of Paris Hilton we'd be sitting in among the general population for 45 days. We wouldn't have gone in knowing that it was going to be cut in half for "good behavior" nor would we have been able to cut a deal after the sentence was decided.

Speaking for myself, I'm mad b/c if it were you or I instead of Paris Hilton we'd be sitting in among the general population for 45 days. I don't think so- I have quite a few friends that are lawyers and many legal experts agree that she was treated more harshly then the average person
I highly doubt I would get probation for a DUI on my first offense- that is not normal - and every sentence in NY is cut by a 1/3 for good behavior
LA jails are the most over crowded in the country- and every sentence is reduced there- Michelle Rodgriz got 2 DUI's - and got out the same day- if you are going to mad about something- be mad about that- she is a repeat offender

I'm confused by this comment. What kind of punishment should a person get for being arrested for DUI? I doubt that there are many judges who would give anything less than probation, and many would probably give a harsher sentence depending on the circumstances.
Didn't she violate probation twice by driving with a suspended license? I don't see how jail time is harsh for someone who obviously has no respect for the law.
