Did anyone catch the Frontline Special last night on McCain and Obama
it was basically a political biography of the two candidates.
I thought it was very interesting.
except when Jesse Jackson was speaking. then I wanted to kill myself. the pain in my ears made life not worth living.

Whenever we see jesse jackson on tv we laugh at my father b/c he voted for him in one of the primaries (the only person I know that did). My father is voting for McCain in this election...it is amazing how his political views have changed in the last 20 years!

Yes, DH and I watched it. I thought it was really good, then again Frontline usually never disappoints.
Watching McCain's progression/transformations over the years was so interesting...and wondering had they not asked Obama to speak at the convention a few years ago, would he be where he is now?

I didn't see it, but I agree re: Obama--I think John Kerry is responsible for giving him a big boost up. Ted Kennedy also.
Jesse Jackson is just jealous--that's my take on him.

I'm pretty sure it replays on Saturdays. Don't know what time exactly though.
