Did anyone else make the Stuffed Cabbage Casserole?
I made it exactly as the directions called for - and I LOVE stuffed cabbage - so I'm surprised that it came out tasting so bland. The cabbage is perfect but the filling is almost tasteless.
I hate wasting food but DH doesn't like cabbage and I can't even eat it, it's so far from what I imagined.

I made it too. I found it tasted better the next day. I think I used more garlic and I only used one head of cabbage. I also used my own tomato sauce instead of canned. I think that makes a difference.
I did think it was a bit bland though. I'll probably make it again because it's healthy and I didn't mind it. However, it was a lot of work.

I like the concept, but just like a lot of her recipes I increase the herbs/garlic/onions, & make my own sauce

I made it and loved it...I added some raisins and vinegar/sugar to make it more sweet and sour as thats how I ate it when I was a kid, I loved it!!!1

I didn't add the cheese but I did add bacon bc I use bacon in my stuffed cabbage. Next time I would leave out the thyme bc I didn't like that flavor in it.

I find that a lot of the SkinnyTaste recipes are sort of bland...I also add my own seasonings and use my own sauce.
I made her turkey 3 bean chili this weekend and totally upped the spices.
I just really use her recipes as a starting point.
Haven't tired this one yet, but I want to.
