Did anyone fracture their tailbone while giving birth?

Cause I did....7 months ago and I just found out last weekChat Icon

It hurt while I was home with DS, but it has gotten SO much worse in hte 2 months since I have been back at a desk for work that I had to go to the doctor and this is what they said happened.

The doctor said there isn't much they can do at this point, but taking Advil constantly isn't going to work.

Does anyone have any advice? Or where I could buy something for my work chairChat Icon

Ouch!! I'm so sorry! I have heard of this though...I would look into a wedge or a "donut". They have cutouts for your tailbone so it's not pressed into the chair. I believe Walgreens has the wedge and most chiropractors carry the donut if that helps. Chat Icon

My girlfriend did, her son is about 2 months now and it's eased a bit but she heard the same thing as you - not much to do but wait it out. She got an extra boppy and leans back into that when sitting

Ouch! Feel better soon!!

They basically speculated that this was what I did b/c I was having some issues after I had him...I too was told to simply take Ibuprofin when it acted up...It bothers me more when Ive been sitting at the computer for long periods of time (usually on here!!)..
