Did anyone get that line that goes down their belly?
Just wondering....While pregnant I got that line that started in the middle of stomach and ran through belly button and a little bit below. Does this ever go away? What exactly was it from, your uterus expanding or something? How long does it take to go away? Thanks!

Mine was pretty dark and started fading fairly quickly. Now at 6 months pp you can't even see it.

It's called the linea nigra. It has to do with your hormones. It's more common in darker skinned women. I had it don't remember when it went away but I'm know 8mths pp and there is no sign it was ever there.

I have it pretty bad and delivered 6 weeks ago. I see my doc tommorrow, so I will let you know what he says when I ask about it!

Still waiting for that line to go away. It has gotten much lighter. My boys are 7 and a half months

I got it too and before I get into the shower I rub it with baby oil and it seems to be getting lighter daily.

I took almost a year to go away, its totally normal, it has to do with your hormones.

I was thinking this same thing!!! Mine is still dark but it has only been 6 days!
