Did anyone get their paperwork for the Mattel lawsuit?

I found it strange that I received it because the recalls were for toys we never had. They were recalls made August 2007-October 2007 for high levels of lead.

But I will post it in case some of the moms have older kids and are pulling toys out of their attic for younger kids.

Here is the article on it and the list of toys:

Recall and lawsuit info

I'm going to look over the entire legal blah blah blah packet of blah blah blah, but wanted to let those of you know that were part of the lawsuit.

Re: Did anyone get their paperwork for the Mattel lawsuit?

Thank you for posting this, it made me wonder on a side note... I scanned the article. I'm not sure if this is a dumb question but... DD has a number of Sesame Street (Elmo inparticular) toys that I notice have paint on them. I used my descretion and did toss or hid toys that I felt the paint came off way too easily. Anyone know if this is still an issue or cause for concern. My older DD loves Elmo, we have the restaurant and pocketbook in particular I know have pieces that are painted. They were purchased within the last 6 months. Thank you!

ETA: I did scan the actual toy list, obviously the toys I mention aren't on there. I'm just asking what other's may be doing. The thought of paint on the toys concerns me even if it's newer. Not sure I trust it.

If they are recent toys they shouldn't be a concern. They changed everything in 2008.

I know your concern though. DS actually bit one of the toys on the exersaucer he has when he was teething. He took layers of paint off. I freaked out. The company let me know that all their 'paints' were non-toxic and to not freak out. They sent me a replacement toy anyway.
