Did anyone get their wedding ring resized after having baby?

My engagement ring is a size 5. My wedding bands are a size 4 1/2. I kept second guessing ordering the 4 1/2 size, but the jeweler insisted that was my size and my engagement ring always was a tiny bit loose.

Anyway, almost one after DS was born, my diamond eternity band is so tight that it is blistering my skin under the ring. It's not smooth on the inside because of the diamonds, and it can't be "resized", but it can be "shaven down" on the inside in order to make it bigger. I also have a plain band which is "comfort fit" on the inside (rounded) so that can be shaved as well, but then it won't be comfort fit anymore...

Here's my dilema - I lost 11.5 pounds so far, I have 28.5 more pounds to go!! Do I have my rings made bigger, or just NOT wear them until they fit comfortably again?

Tell your DH to just buy you a new ring

For a while after Lucas born I had a hard time with my wedding band...I told my DH that if it wasn't on by the 1 year mark I needed a new one

my diamond eternity band fits just the same. My plain comfort fit band irritates me to no end after having DS. I just dont wear it. My jeweler said he can stretch it but I dont want to. maybe it will be comfy again one day soon.

i refuse to get another it means to much to me.. it fits and i am happy
