DId anyone get tickets to the Delaware River Polar Express?
I managed to get tickets back in August to take my 3 year old DS on Dec 2nd. I'm so excited!
I'm curious for anyone who has done this in the past if they have any tips, suggestions, ideas of things to do beforehand in the area (we're driving down in the afternoon and we're thinking of having dinner in the area prior to the train ride)??

We also got tickets in august for dec. 15th. Never been before but so excited. We have been watching the movie and dd is obsessed

We are going next Saturday...Thanksgiving weekend. Actually think we are going on the first ride of the season.
Never been but I'll let you know how it is!

I'm interested in this one! We bought the ones for Essex Ct and I was ready at 9:00 am the day they went on sale. They were sold out in 45 minutes for the weekend trains.
Was the one you bought as difficult to get tickets for?

We are going to the one in Newport, RI on 12/15 at 6:30. We are staying in a hotel that night, and we are SO excited!!

We did this one last year! It was great! Little crowded/loud and dark! But we loved it for the experience and mostly because the kids loved it!
We got stuck in traffic and just made it to the train ride..didn't do anything in the neighborhood!
