Did anyone have a DC that rolled late?

Luka will be 6 months next friday and he has yet to roll over. He actually sleeps on his side (which he rolls onto himself) but he doesnt want to make the the extra effort to do the complete roll over. I know that all children go at their own pace but it just seems a little late for him to be doing this. He can sit up pretty well when I put him down in the sitting postion, a little wobbly still but not bad. When he is laying down he raises his head and shoulders and legs.

Re: Did anyone have a DC that rolled late?

Oh I am so glad you posted this. My DS who turned 6 months today still has not rolled over on his own either. He lies on his side, rocks from side to side...but not rolled over yet. He sits very well on his own, he can even grab his toys while sitting. He has been running around in his walker for about a month now. But, I was getting concerned about him not rolling yet. I am hoping he will soon. I have a doctor's appt this Monday, I will ask him about it. Let's see what he says!

Do you think you could FM me with what your doctors says if you remember. I dont go back until Oct. 16th. It makes me feel better that I am not along here.

Don't worry...my DD rolled over at around 6.5 months. I was so worried as well but, once she started, it was no big deal. Chat Icon

Absolutely, if you don't hear from me by Tues...drop me an FM, just as a reminder.

I am also glad I am not alone

My mother always tells me how I didn't roll over until I was 7 months old. I wouldn't worry. It'll happen when it happens. No one ever went to college not being able to roll overChat Icon Chat Icon
