did anyone have no problems gettign pregnant one time but then toruble teh 2nd time?
I had no problems getting pergnant the first time. Now we are going to ttc again soon and i was wondering is it common to be so lucky and get pregnat easily again or can you have problems one time and no problems the next?

Depends on the person. For some they are just fertile & others their body changed. So it takes longer.

We're having a little bit of a problem. First time around I had no problem getting pregnant, within the first month. Miscarried, and got pregnant again within a week.
Now, we've been TTC for 3 months - I did get pregnant, in March, I think, but miscarried, and nothing since. But, that could also be because I've been under an unbelievable amount of stress due to my father's condition. I'm hoping that now that things have settled down a little, we'll have some more luck.

I actually had an easier time the second time around -- like my body knew what it was doing.
Problems the second time happen, but unless lots of years have passed or something else dramatic has happened with your body I wouldn't worry!

I had my ds 2-15-95..I was so regular I had my dd 2-15-96!
well years and years of infertility and finally ivf we had 3 and 4

We were diagnoised with unexplained secondary IF after our son. We had four first trimester miscarriages over 2006. We ended up in the care of a RE thanks to alot of ladies on this board and the last of miscarriages would have been born on the date I hit my second trimester with this pregnancy. My RE couldn't find a reasoning but I believe that some of his testing and support helped us to support this pregnancy through our high risk period.
I am so greatful that we started trying early because from what I have seen everyone either gets pregnant right away or tends to have some bumps in the road.
It's really hard for me to hear when people say they are planning their second for XXXX since my second should have turned one on St. Patrick's Day of this year.

I had no problem getting pregnant the second time. In fact both times, we were fortunate - pregnant the first month we tried.
I have friends that have struggled with second child infertility for years.
It was tough for them because they were fielding questions from family & friends, requests from their first child for a brother or sister, coupled with many people that are going through infertility treatments at the same time as them had the attitude that "you were luck to have one."
Three of them had a five year gap between the first & second child. One went on to have a 3rd child right away (no issues).

I had no trouble getting pregnant, but I miscarried twice (the second time I miscarried DD's twin).

I had no problems the 1st, 2nd month of trying. However, it took me almost a year to get pg with this baby. Good luck!

I didn't have any issues either time and both pregnancies were uneventful, in a good way. So it really just depends on your body and your combined fertility. I've also been blessed to have not suffered any miscarriages.

Same here.
My friend got preggo right away with her ds and then the second took over a year. She got preggo pretty quick but she miscarried and then it took almost a year to get pregnant with her dd. Her doctor said he felt that it was just harder for her since she was over 35.

This was me. I had no problem the first time but had problems with very early miscarriages the second time. The problem was never really fully diagnosed as virtually all of my testing was "normal." My girls are 5 years apart.

I had no issue getting pg the 2nd time and this pg has been low risk and uneventful.
The 1st time though, i suffered a m/c than had a high risk pg starting at 26 weeks til delivery.

I had no problem with the first (he was an oops!) - however when I was ready to actually try for a second many years later - it took about 7-8 months.

I got pregnant right away with my son. Then it took nearly 2 years to get pregnant with #2. I was one of those lucky ones whose body changed after pregnancy.

With Dd i got PG right away.. with this one it actually took a little longer. I was 2 weeks late went to the Dr andwe really did not try we thought we would wait till I got AF and I ended up being PG 3 weeks later...and they are twins.. so who knows
