Did anyone not buy a bedding set and bought just bedskirt, bumpers

Well, as of you guys know i am having twins and i bought 2 bedding sets already from my first two kids, so this time i dont want to buy the whole set. i didnt even use most of it.
I just want to buy the bedskirt, bumper, sheets etc. did anyone do this if so can you tell me where you bought from or post a picture of there room

I WISH I didn't buy a bedding set. What a waste of money - I never used the comforter. All I really needed was sheets and bumper. I bought the individual pieces for the crib at my mom's house (she watched DS every day) from babies r us - just sheets, bumper, and ruffle.

I won't be buying a bedding set. I will probably buy a couple/few sets of sheets, one crib skirt, and a breathable bumper.

I'm hoping I can find a nice crib skirt on it's own without having to buy a freakin bedding set!

I bought a white breathable bumper and a white crib skirt from BBB for my bedding.

I don't have any pics yet. The room is going to be sage green with white trim and white curtains. I'm going to get some accent lamps as well.

We did not buy a bedding set. We just bought sheets we love and my mom is making a bed skirt out fabric I picked out. We will only use a breathable bumper if we find we need it at all and I may buy a blanket, although we plan to use a sleep sack.

I didn't buy a bedding set. I bought sheets, a bed skirt and breatheable bumpers. I'm very happy with what I did and am doing it again for DD2

This time around I will not be wasting money buying a bedding set. I am going to buy a breathable bumper and some sheets to match the gender and dress it up nice with some accessories ( lamp, hamper, etc.)

We got a bedding set with DS and looking back, I think it's a complete waste of money.

This time around, I literally just got sheets and a breathable bumper. That's it!

For DD, I registered for a bedding set.

I hardly used any of it so this go around, I just bought what I would need-crib skirt, sheets and valances.

I don't have pictures yet since the room is not together yet, but I'll post when it is.

I am problem not going to buy/register for a set. I know I won't use the blanket, bumpers anyway. If we had a nursery to decorate I prob would just to have it for show, but we don't so I am going to skip it.

i plan on just the bumper and skirt this time around.. my mother is going after the baby is born since i am team to get a sex oriented one... target has alot of them

I registered for a bedding set..never got it for my shower...I told myself I wasnt going to buy it because i am basically paying almost 200 dollars for sheets ..it comes with the comforter, sheets, bumpers , a valance and diaper stacker.. so I took it off my reg and am just getting breathable bumpers and sheets

I'm not getting a bedding set - seems like a waste. I bought sheets from Land's End and Land of Nod that I liked. I also registered for a waterproof mattress cover and breathable bumpers. I'm not getting a crib skirt - I think our crib will look better without it. Also not getting a blanket - using sleepsacks instead.

no, but I wish I did with DD! I plan to reuse the bumper and bedskirt this time and just get new sheets.

I bought just the skirt, bumpers and some matching sheets from BRU. I bought the Caters brand. The bumpers cost me $30 and I bought them when they were buy one get one 1/2 off and got the skirt for $15!

I'm doing that for #2. I'm buying the same bumper as #1 has now since they'll be sharing a room. I'm going to use #1's skirt since I no longer use it now that the crib is lowered. The sheet and blanket I never even used.

did not register for bedding. never found anything i loved, and it just seemed like extra fluff. i like it simple & minimal. so i registered for a bumper, sheets and a bed skirt.

I bought the bumper, bedskirt and sheet from restoration hardware. they're having a 20% off sale soon!!

I'm Team , so I intend to just buy the bumper and skirt after delivery. Right now I just have plain white sheets on the bed.
