did anyone not drink anything at thier glucose test
I went for my test with book in hand to do the one hour but they told me I had to give blood now ( I had to fast the night before) , go and eat and then return to give blood 2 hrs later..
Did anyone else have this test?

Nope, for my 1 hiour test, I had to drink the bottle, wait an hour and then they took blood.
For 3 hour test, I had to fast the night before, they drew blood, then drank the bottle, wait an hour, take blood and repeat 2 more times.

I had to drink the bottle at home and hour before my appt.

I had to get my blood drawn before I drank the bottle. Drank, then waited an hour and got the blood drawn again.
For the three hour I had to get blood drawn, drink, get blood drawn after a half hour, then again after a half hour, then twice more at the hour marks. My arms look like I'm a heroin addict!

Ditto on the whole thing.
On one arm she did a vein alll the way out and it looks all black and blue already (just went today!)

you had just a "regular" blood test then, which you can get a sugar count from. Its not as accurate as the glucose induced test.
