with baby #2 and #3 we didn't wait. We waited until I was done bleeding though.
baby #1- 3 months
baby #2- 11 days
baby #3- 13 days

We waited awhile after Ava - I tore really badly and bled a lot so it was awhile.
We did it and I ended up with Jack ........
Moral is - be careful

it's been 4 weeks, i am barely spotting anymore... and i am dying over here!
i had a c-section so i am not worried about being sore, but is there another reason doctors say to wait the six weeks?

We waited 7wks and that was only because DH begged.  I tore really bad and had some nerve damage as well so it took awhile to heal.

I was given the all clear 4 weeks after my scheduled c-section...
I would wait until you are done bleeding but then GO for it!

Ryan is 3 months (13 weeks). We got the ok at 7 weeks...did it at 8 and haven't done it since.
