Did anyone of you do anything special when your DC turned 6 months?
I'm not talking about a big party, I realize that's more for when they are 1.
But did any of you do anything when your DC turned a half year old. Just to acknowledge it.

I had a pity party for myself as she was a half a year already and I dont want her to grow up
other than that just took the same monthly pics and her daddy bought her a new outfit!

We were thinking of doing maybe a little birthday cake. I would like to take him to get pictures done but between October and November he'll be going for his christening and christmas pictures.
Yeah i'll probably have a pity party for myself too as this will be only the beginning for them to start growing up on us...

Like I said DS will be going for his christmas pictures around mid november or early December so maybe I'll just change his outfit and have them do another pose.

We had a little get together, just my parents, grandma and DH's father. I made different kind of gourmet sandwitches, tea and a little desert. Nothing fancy....

I was thinking of doing the same thing. Just a little get together our the parents and siblings for a little cake and coffee.

We had pictures taken by a photographer, not just going to a picture place. They came out awesome and I was so glad we did it. She came to the house and it was so relaxed compared to going somewhere. We just did them again today for her 1 year.
