Did anyone read about that couple in Sweden....
who want to name their baby Metallica???
Apparently, in Sweden, you cant just name your baby whatever you want...
From what I understand the baby is about 6 months old but legally her name is not official yet...they have had to cancel some trips b/c they cant get a passport for the baby b/c technically the baby doesnt have a name..
I remember, on Oprah, there was a women from Swedish who said that they never could name a child Oprah in Sweden b/c its not a Swedish name and the government wouldnt allow it!!!
Can you imagine?

not that I think Metallica would be high on my list of names, but who are they to tell you what to name your child?

I've heard similar things in Germany - that you have to petition for gender neutral names, like Taylor and Hunter are here.
I guess it's a tradeoff for universal health care, year long maternity leave and free higher education.

I believe it's the same in Poland as well. A manicurist was telling me a story about that when her sister was born. They have to name them a Polish name.
Interesting.
