did anyone read Dr. Weissbluth's book?
I am reading it now...I really really hope it will be the answer to my problems with Talia's sleeping...
Just was wondering if anyone else read it, used it, and it worked?

I swear by it. It helped so much with Jake's sleeping and napping. I think you'll be very pleased with the results.

I would like to know too, already we taught her that she does not have to sleep in her bassinet, we will hold her all night if she cries (dad does that!)

Re: did anyone read Dr. Weissbluth's book?
i just started reading it - but pretty much its a sleep begets sleep mentality - how to get the babies to sleep better during the day for better night sleeping, and using the bodies natural rhythms to work a sleep schedule.
He also talks about crying it out, colic, fussiness, soothing,etc...
I have to say I am REALLY learning a lot from this book!

I've read his book and also found it very informative. It helps you understand a lot about baby's sleep patterns and what is reasonable to expect at different ages. The action plan can be a bit confusing though if your child falls outside the norm.

Re: did anyone read Dr. Weissbluth's book?
I read it and I really try to get Bryan to nap now ever since reading how naps help babies sleep better and act better and its very true although I use the no cry and co sleep because Bryan hates his crib and wails for hours on end and I cant handle it so we decided that sleeping with us is much better. I take what I can from each book I read now and make it fit my life and child.
