Did anyone see this house in person???

The reason I ask is because the master bedroom looks so small???

A little out of our price range but I love it!!!! And I think it will be one of the ones we see this weekend!!!Chat Icon

I didnt see it - and your right the MB looks small - but it says the 4th bedroom is only accessable thru the MB, so you can probably knock down a wall / or have an extra sitting area.

Its Chat Icon , definitely go see it!

Re: Did anyone see this house in person???

I thought so , but in my eyes...if I'm going to spend that much on a house, I will only bring my suitcase and toothbrush!! We'll see. I love it though. But MLS can be very deceiving.

This house hunting thing is crazy, found a lovely house in lake grove this weekend, so nice, would have been a contender, but no closets in 2 0f the 4 bedrooms!!!Chat Icon Who builds a house like that???

That house looks beautiful. I was going to buy a house that had a very small master bedroom (much smaller than the one in the picture appears) but the wall was against another bedroom. We were going to make a large cutout and put in French doors to make it a dressing area. Maybe you can do something like that? We looked into it - knocking down a wall isn't too expensive, though I can't remember what I was quoted.

It looks great. Knocking down a wall is really no big deal. I would negotiate the price. The house is great.

We'll check it out and see. Apparently the 4th bedroom is only accessible thru the master??? Maybe knocking down a wall would be an option??? We'll see.

you wouldn't have to do a thing- you need to take that into consideration- I am willing to go to that price for a house I saw- even though we wanted to spend closer to $500K

also- remember the list price is necessarily the price you get it for

Right, but there's the small master bedroom thing. We were really looking for a master suite.
We are looking in the same price range but will also consider a house above our price that does not need work. It will be our only house we purchase forever, so I want to love the house I am writing a check for every month for the next 30 years!

NICE house. not familar w/ the area but IMO, priced GREAT for size and condition. property size is great too. taxes don't seem overly high. keep in mind that big house + good sized property + LI = high taxes.

good luck and keep us updated.

Re: Did anyone see this house in person???

No i hadn't but that kitchen is GOREGOUS

IMO you can't really tell the real size of the rooms unless you look at it in person

GOOD LUCK Chat Icon
