Did anyone take the Newborn Baby Care class at LIJ?
Or did anyone take a baby care class at all?
Was it worth it?
We have a dvd coming from netflix and we'll have our moms. Should we still take the class?

We took the class. DH had never held a baby befoe so I thought it would be useful. It wasn't. At all. Most of the time we just watched videos (stories very similar to the ones you see on A Baby Story).

it was ok
nice to see the hopsital and get the tour.
other than that... videos and some breathing exercises.
I wound up having a c-section so the class wound up being useless for me
