Did anyone take their DC for blood work at 9 months?
We just had a terrible experience. THey tried both arms and nothing. The Dr. wanted to check his lead level and hemoglobin and now I'll have to go back. The ladies tried and tried but said DS's veins were too small. I was near tears as he was hysterical on my lap. I dont know how I'm going to do that to him again.

I took my girls--We went to Quest lab on Brooksite in Hauppauge..they were great got the needle in on the 1st try..of course my girls still screamed bloody murder..but it was fast.

DS didnt have any bloodwork at his 9 month appt....wonder why?

Well, my Dr. said that he likes to do the lead check when they kids start crawling. So thats why we went....and will have to go back!
