did anyone that had a baby girl....
have their heart rate below 150?
I am still trying to figure out what this baby will be. Again it was 170. I heard some boys being like 155ish but I was wondering if girls ever went low like boys?

My sis is having a girl and no, the HB never went below 150.
That dont mean anything though...so they say.

Mine did. My doctor didn't routinely tell me the heartrate, but when she did it was always low--130s, 40s. Strangely she was and IS super active!
Like the previous poster said, it makes absolutely no difference.

I was put on a fetal heart monitor around 26 weeks for an hour. During that hour it did flucuate anywhere between 140 and 180. I'm supposedly having a girl.

Jeremy was 135-140
This baby 150-155 (but I think its a boy)

So I guess this tale can conclude nothing! I am still really high with 1 week to go and HB is 160-170. I think its worse not knowing when you are so close! I guess we will see!

Both girls never had a hb under 150 and DS was always under 150.

I agree...your chances are slightly higher for a girl with that high of a heartrate. My daughter's lowest ever was around 150 I believe...I looked it up recently and I personally found her to not be so active IMO.

Ooooh. Mine has been in the 140s too!
Anyway, the funny thing about this was at our last sono we had a heartrate of 146 and we came home and googled it. The WHOLE internet said 140 and over was girl and less was boy.
So, I tell the two biggest loud mouths that I know (my best friend and my cousin) and now they both swear the baby is a BOY. Because THEIR girls were always in the 160 range.
FYI: My DH (who is an EMT) says that the heartrate should always be an even number. Which I thought was funny.
