Did anyone watch "Babies" (the movie)?
I watched it last night and I was so impressed with the African babies motor skills compared to the others. I can't even imagine when Liam will be able to balance something on his head like that!!
Overall, it was a pretty cool movie. I got it ON Demand last night.

I watched it the other day and what I was most compelled by was the lack of ANYthing the African babies had and how you see that and go right to the US with the assault of toys, mommy classes, technology, etc etc and how NO baby was different, regardless of what they had.
Really made you think.

Totally agree with this!!
We wached it the other night. Amazing how different they all are but when it comes down to it, they all develop the same skills, just in different ways.
The african baby was my favorite..what a cute, cute little boy he was!!
This sounds awful because she was just a baby..but i was so bored by Hatties storyline. I don't know if it was what they chose to film of her, or her personality...but the other babies captivated me so much more.

Oh and the older brother of the Mongolian baby was hysterical!! When he was dragging the cat by a string and then pushed his brother outside on the stroller and left him there

I haven't watched it yet, but my dad saw it and said the same thing..we have so many things and classes for DD and some of these kids literally had nothing and developed naturally and just like DD did...
