i hope they ALL leave him and he has start fresh next season with new wives or he has to spend the first few episodes begging for their forgiveness and for them to come home!!!! thats what he deserves!!!!!!

I refuse (and hope) to believe it will not be a long time before they return. It was almost a year last year, but HBO is in a bit of trouble; shows are cancelling, nothing on the board, etc. Its currently their strongest show. I was honestly hoping Jan/Feb

i love love love this show!!!!!!
I posted on the thread last night. Bill seemed so rightous in the first season. This season he seems so damn selfish. He wants what he wants and doesn't care how he gets it.
I find it very amusing when fiercely religious charachters (on TV/literature/ etc...) do the most amoral things- but still consider themselves "religious"

The wives perfectly mock the roles of children in a family.
Barb- oldest, most experienced, understands the value of family and the need to keep "hers" together. She is the role model.
Nicki- Typical middle child. Manipulative, destructive when she doesn't get her own way. Always seeking attention.
Margene- The forgotten child. Able to be independent but is easily frustrated when she is forgotten about. Likes adventure and is a people person!

I think Barb is the most realistic and multi-dimensional character on the show. You can really feel her pain. I also think Bill and Barb's daughter (name slips my mind this second) is showing so much reality and pain this season - terrific acting. I REALLY hope Barb goes and takes her kids but I don't see that happening...
Margene is asserting herself in such childish ways, she is really annoying me this season!
