I did! Loved them both. I love dark comedies so Nurse Jackie was right up my alley. A bit disturbing of course because you wonder if there's any validity to some of these scenarios IRL (the hospital ones).
I've always been a big fan of Weeds and this season so far is no exception. Curious to see how things pan out!

What is Nurse Jackie about??? I've seen tons of promos but haven't seen/read what it's about other than a nurse.
It's basically a dark comedy about a nurse in a NYC hospital. It's definitely NOT ER or Grey's Anatomy, that's for sure! It's far from being politically correct and I guess you can say it's edgy. I don't want to give too much away, but it's worth seeing.

Unfortunately, I don't get Showtime, but I am so curious. I'll have to check it out when it's out on DVD.

I watched Weeds. Although I think season one was definately the best. I enjoyed it last night's season premire. I think this season may be better than last.

We watched them both.
I thought last season of Weeds was awful. This episode was OK. Kind of boring, but I figure they are setting us up. I hope it gets better. But I *hate* Quinn (I actually remember her from season 1).
As for Nurse Jackie, it was kind of surprising. I will definitely check it out again. The ending was quite a surprise for me. But I thought that all the actors, especially Edie Falco, did a great job. Just hoping the writing holds up.

loved Nurse Jackie. Epi one was on demand since last week, and I watched epi 2 last night also on demand.
Weeds had me lmao thru the entire episode.

I am a nurse...and an ER nurse at that so I have alot of problems with Nurse Jackie....
weeds was how it always is..entertaining... I thought it was funny what was going on with Celia...

I love Weeds and am always wanting to see what's going to happen next..that Nancy..the Celia situation was funny, but of course I felt bad for her! As for Quinn..blech! I, would, however, have expected more of a turnaround from Celia considering the situation, but it's actually more interesting that she stayed snide the way she is....
