Just curious...and if they did how bad was it?

We had the flu here (with a preschooler & kindergartner last year) - it was pretty miserable as it was passed around.
Not too severe though.

Yes - we did...my 18 month old (at the time) had a terrible bout with the flu and she wound up giving it to her little brother (who was 3 months old at the time) and he wouldn up in ICU for five days. It is not something to take lightly. I am definitey going to schedule thier flu shots - thanks for posting this as you just reminded me to call the ped!

That's exactly why at gianna's 18 month appt she is getting it again this year, i don't want her to pass something to amelia who's will be 3-4 months old.
Dh and I are getting it this year too.

Neither DC ever had the flu. They always get the vaccine. Both DC are scheduled, as am I. DW will be getting it soon, too.
