Did everyone do progesterone supp after IUI?

I was not told to do this? I keep reading that many of you did. Is that ok that I wasn't told to do this?

I was put on progesterone because I had multiple miscarriages. If you want to go on it you can ask your doctor, it doesnt hurt.

Nope - I think they tested me like a week or so after my IUI (or maybe it was 3 days) to check my progesterone level. It was well above the range they like to see it at, so I didn't go on any form of progesterone.
IVF makes you do it automatically... but w/ IUI I guess each dr is different. If you're concerned, call your dr and ask them to test your progesterone to make sure it's not too low. HTH!

I was never told to go for a test...should I go. They actually told me to go because I was afraid that I didn't ovulate...maybe I will go tomorrow morning.

I have had 6 IUIs and never did progesterone with it.

After my b/t for #'s 3 & 4 I was put on them. For #5 (resulted in a pg) never had to.

I had 4IUIs and never did progesterone afterwards.
