Did I test too late?
I started OPK this month. My doctor said I probably O on day 20 so I started testing on CD 17, it is now day 22 and nothing. I am afraid I might have started testing too late.

Re: Did I test too late?
Why did your MD say you probably O on CD20? Based on what? If you O late, it's possible you didn't miss it. Do you have any other approaching O signs (EWCM)?

Re: Did I test too late?
I have a 32-33 day cycle and my OBGYN said I most likely O on Cd 20, I have no idea why to be honest. Now i am thinking I should have started on CD15 instead of 17. I am going to be using CBEOM starting next cycle so it's not a guessing game.

Re: Did I test too late?
Keep testing for another 3-4 days. Hopefully you didn't miss your window. Good Luck!

Re: Did I test too late?
Honestly, if that's the only information your MD was going by, I find that a little irresponsible of him/her to suggest that. It doesn't make sense. I have a 30-32 day cycle USUALLY and I usually O anywhere from CD14-18 (mostly 15 or 16 with a 14 day LP). Last month I O'd on CD12 and had a 26 day cycle.

right.. i agree.. its like he didnt give her enough time to test.. incase she was to get the surge early.. and he is giving her a borderline short LP
Danielle, i would keep testing another few days just incase.. but next time.. (if there is a next time) i would take them earlier..

Re: Did I test too late?
Thank you. That is why I am going to use the monitor starting next cycle. This way it takes a lot of the guess work out.
