Did Memory Maker Replace Photo Pass Plus?
I am doing some research for my trip later this year and I was wondering - for all of you experts - did Memory Maker replace Photo Pass plus? I purchased Photo Pass Plus last time I went and loved it and was hoping to purchase it again.
Thanks!

Re: Did Memory Maker Replace Photo Pass Plus?
Yes, and I am trying to get an accurate picture to decide which I want. They did away with the photopass plus back in Dec I think. We had it in our package so we can get it but trying to decide if I want it or not.
It is a bit complicated. You assign one person to be the magic maker. They can then download all the pictures you or anyone traveling with you takes. It is an all digital product so no hard copies at places like chef mickeys like pp+...but you will get a digital copy of it. You must download everything no more CD ( trying to figure that out bc I saw people said you can still get a disk for like $30.
You must enter it into you MDE account and must be purchased 3 days before checkin...or you don't get those pics if you get it down there. Everyone traveling with you must go into MDE and give you permission to see and view photos.
It still includes ride photos and dining photos the same as pp+... Just you don't get the cd nor hard copies at the restaurants. You will still get hard copies at CRT and Akershsus since they are included with the meal.
There is conflicting info on ride photo pick up. Some say only the magic maker can get it...others say anyone in your party can.
BTW if you did not buy the pp+ before it switched you cannot get it now. They are only honoring those whop repurchased. So it is MAgic maker or nothing. But it is basically the same minus the above differences.

That is helpful - thanks! I loved Photopass plus last time and just looked it up to send the info to a friend going this summer (and we're going this fall).

I agree we always get it! I am on the fence this trip which one I want. I think I want to try the magic maker but I like getting the cd, I love the downloads but like getting the CD.

That's good that you have the option. I think I am going to get it since at least I will have the digital rights.

You get unlimited downloads for the time allowed ( think it is 30 days but have to check).

Thanks - I will probably download and save them all to Shutterfly or Snapfish.

No - you can still do the regular photo pass and purchase the pictures that you want. I liked having all of the pictures at the end of the trip and open rights to them - and knowing my mother and how she wants all pictures, I figured it would be cheaper thsi way.
