I'm Jewish, but DH isn't. We'll have it done if the dr. thinks it's necessary, but we don't plan on TTC for a little while.

DH just got tested...we both have ashkenazi Jewish heritage.
His results for the Jewish panel of tests came back all negative, so I probably won't get tested.

we had it done only because we were going to a fertility specialist and the "standard" genetic tests were included in our intial blood work up. none of us have any family genetic problems we know of that would lead us to pursue any further more advnaced testing.
