Did you/are you getting your hair or makeup done for your shower?
I feel so gross and pale and fat, I'm thinking of having one or both done,... maybe it'll give me a little lift! LOL What are you all doing or what did you do?

I think you read my mind because I was considering this as well.
Im so blah feeling and PALE (for me..cause Im a fake baker and havent this winter) and well, I cant do makeup well and I want to look pretty.
its an option I may consider.

I was so due for a haircut anyway so I scheduled it the day before my shower. My hair was nicely styled for the pics.

I'd really like to have my hair done. My hair is limp, dry on the ends and oily at the roots - it's pretty darn gross.

I keep postponing the hairdresser but this is way overdue. My hair is now at my mid back.
I need a trim and layer.

I had my hair done the morning of my shower but not on purpose. I had made an appt. several weeks earlier. But I was in sweatpants and a t-shirt and had my hair in a pony tail by the time I made it home. The shower was a surprise at my house.

I am getting my hair done the day before. (2nd day hair looks best on me). I might hit the BE store & get made up that morning.

I just got a hair cut the day of my shower so she blew it out nice and flat ironed it for me. My sister did my makeup for me

i did my own hair and makeup. i never even thought about getting that stuff done professionally. at the shower, i felt and looked tired. i think i should have looked into hiring one.

Great idea!
but my hairdresser is closed Sundays I think. 
But Ill definitely Mystic tan and maybe get a quote for makeup from the lady who did my makeup for my wedding.
