We did - but that was because we drove to Cape Coral for a couple of days.
We are doing the same this year too

we just got one with the rental. But next time, I will just bring it. They charged $15/day for the carseat.

 You could BUY a carseat for that much!
My SIL had a very bad experience with renting a carseat, so I never will.
We always bring ours and put it in a laundry bag with our last name written across it and check it. Never had a problem.

We are going next week and are bringing ours. For what they charge to rent one and I cannot know in advance the condition it will be in, I just couldn't bring myself to do it.

We brought the one on wheels. She sat on it on the plane and then we used it for the rental car.

We brought ours and installed it in the rental car. I bought a car seat bag with wheels and we checked it. One of our bags was too heavy so the person at the gate suggested we put some items with the car seat.... so we did.

We did for 2 reasons we wanted it for the plane and for our rental car. I didn't want to rent a seat - don't know the age, if there were recalls on it or if it had been in an accident (actually they don't recommend you rent them). It was very helpful for the plane - DD doesn't sit still so it kept her comfortable and from running up and down the aisles. She was so comfortable she slept for a good portion of the flight home and part of the flight down.

we didn't but we didn't rent a car. We took the magical express to our hotel and I held DD on my lap and then we used disney world transportation while on property.

I did not rent a car and did not bring the seat. You can't install it on Magical Express anyway so it would go under the bus. You can't use it on the disney busses between the parks either so it's really pointless unless you want your DC confined in something other than the lapbelt on the airplane.

Great info! Thanks! I think you just helped me make up my mind....not bringing the car seat. Doesn't seem worth it if it isn't going to be used for anything other than the plane.
