did you/can you go to your dc's preschool bday party?
my sons teacher (who i HATE) says no. but in the school i taught at we always welcomed the parents for a quick bday party. just wanted to see what the norm was.

No, we weren't allowed but we were allowed to send in a camera so the teachers could take pictures.

DD's daycare encourages us to attend all the parties and to volunteer whenever we can. I've been to quite a few of their parties and I love it.

We are invited to daycare parties, but I don't go, because when I did, he would assume it was time to leave and had zero interest in staying around for the party.

We can if we want to to, but DS's teacher said most parents don''t because they have to work- so they just send in the treats and leave a camera for the teacher to take pictures.

I don't even know if we can.....but I didn't even ask because I felt like if my son saw me in school, he'd want to come home with me and I didn't want to create that dilemma.
i.e. I picked him up early ONCE because he was sick (turned out to be strep throat) it took a week for him to get on the bus without asking to go to school in the car
I just try to avoid creating issues with his routine (but that's what works for me and my kid.) I know all kids don't react the same way
