What does he do to blow them out? My DH is going to attempt to do my mom's but he's never done it before...we'll see how this goes

not yet. we fertilized and seeded 2 weeks ago so we are hoping to keep them on another week or 2. my service guy said he will blow out the lines in early Oct.

Not really too sure. 
It's the ONLY thing my DH does that is somewhat "mechanical" in this house.
I think DH and my Dad use a compressor to suck out the air from the tubing, then theyy run out the lines until there is no more water. 
If you really want to know the "process", I'll have to ask him when he gets home tonight.

we actually just got them last week and we have brand new grass growing.
they will be winterized end of october/beginning of nov
