Did you wait until your DC was exactly two to give Children's motrin?
DS will be 23 months on Sept 7th. Sometimes lately when I give him motrin for his teeth it doesn't seem to work like it used to. I am wondering if its not strong enough. Should I wait until he is two to give him the children's motrin?

I would call the doctor b/c I think they go by weight more than age. DS is 16 months, and b/c of his weight we can give him Children's, but I'm not sure on the dosage.

Weight is more important than age. If DC meets the weight minimum, it's probably fine.

no, my doctor told me to give the children's version once miki reached the weight limit (25lbs)

I've been giving DD the children's motrin since the beginning of the summer since she met the min. weight requirement. She'll be 2 tomorrow

nope...on our well visit sheets, the Dr would put dosage for both infant and children's.
My 14.5 mth old gets 3/4 tsp and my 2 1/2 yr old gets 1 tsp
